Prawn Chilli Fry With Grated Coconut
Being a seafood lover, you have be a die-hard fan of prawns. Cooking prawns is not much of a hassle and the soft, little piece of the seafood is simply hard to resist. So, here we have a simple yet an irresistible prawn recipe for you which will give your taste-buds, a delicious treat.
Prawn chilli fry with grated coconut is extremely easy to make. All you have to do is fry the prawns with coconut and other handful of ingredients. Coconut lends a lip-smacking flavour to this dish which makes it utterly delicious and tempting.

So, try out prawn chilli fry with grated coconut at home and enjoy a delightful treat.

Preparation time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 20 minutes
Ingredients
- Prawns- 200 gms
- Onions- 2 (finely chopped)
- Potato- 1 (large, diced)
- Green chillies- 2 (chopped)
- Turmeric powder- 1tsp
- Coconut- ½ (grated)
- Garlic- 4 cloves (chopped)
- Salt- as per taste
- Oil- 2tbsp
Procedure
- Wash and clean the prawns properly with water. Keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a pan. Saute onions, potato and a couple of chillies (as per your tolerance)
- Add prawns and cook for about 5-6 minutes on medium flame
- Add turmeric powder
- Add grated coconut, garlic and salt
- Mix together and fry about 5-6 minutes till browned and prawns are done
Your Prawn chilly fry is ready to eat! Enjoy it with fried rice.
