Persian Chicken Makes You Swirl

Yummy Persian Chicken
Chicken is a very tasty dish , in which ever way you cook it. Spices used in cooking chicken, should be usually hot and spicy. Dishes like Kebabs, chilly chicken, chicken tikka makes your tongue swirl and your taste buds get lost in ecstasy.

Here is a much more tastier recipe called 'Persian Chicken' made especially from the blend of red wine.

You would need-

  • 1 Cup Red Wine
  • 1 Cup of water
  • 2 Large Onions
  • 750 gm of Chicken
  • 500 gm Mushroom
  • I Teaspoon Curry Powder
  • 2 Teaspoon Chicken Stock
  • 200 ml Cream
  • 200 ml mayonnaise
  • Small bunch of Parsley

Directions :-

  1. Cut up the onions finely and in a pan of hot oil, fry the chopped onions until golden brown.
  2. In a bowl of large measuring cup, combine the wine, the water , the curry powder and the chicken stock. Pour this into the golden fried onions and switch onto to simmer for half an hour.
  3. Slice up the mushrooms and dice the chicken, fry them together in a pan that has little oil, then add it to the pan of water, wine and onions and simmer it to about 10 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile whip the cream, till it holds shape and then fold in the mayonnaise and then add the finely chopped parsley.
  5. Now remove the chicken, water and wine mix from the heat and fold in the cream, mayonnaise and parsley just before serving. Preferred to be served on a bed of white rice.

This can also be converted to a vegetarian meal, if you add in more of the mushrooms to it and change it from chicken stock to vegetable stock.
