Chicken Noodles n Vegetables Soup
The season to enjoy a hot bowl of soup has almost come. Soups are one of the delicious starters which can be very healthy and filling. Soups are one of the nutritious dishes which aids in weight loss. Soup diets have become popular worldwide after celebrities have started following it to lose weight and maintain their svelte figure.
Chicken soup is very healthy for the body as it boosts the immune system. Chicken soup is also served for dinner as it is filling and healthy. Chicken soup can be made using just the chicken broth, spices and chicken pieces. However, you can add some other ingredients to make the soup all the more delicious. For example, how about adding some noodles and vegetables? Chicken noodles and vegetables soup is a yummy treat for your dinner plate. Chicken Noodles and Vegetables Soup:

Serves: 3-4
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 30 minutes
Ingredients
- Chicken breast fillets: 250gms
- Chicken stock- 2-3 cups
- Carrot- 1 (diced)
- Onion- 1 (finely chopped)
- Dried noodles- 50gms (broken into 5cm pieces)
- Potato- 1 (peeled and diced)
- Garlic- 2-3 pods (minced)
- Salt- as per taste
- Black pepper powder- a pinch
- Thyme- /12 bunch
- Celery stalks- 2-3 (cut)
- Water- 2 cups
- Oil- 1tbsp
Procedure
- Heat oil in a frying pan. Saute the chopped onions until they turn golden brown. Cook for around 3-4 minutes on a medium flame).
- Add all the vegetables namely carrot, potato, garlic, celery and cook for another 5 minutes. Stir often.
- Pour the chicken stock and bring it to boil. Reduce and cover the pan with a lid to boil. Simmer for 15 minutes.
- Once the broth starts boiling, add chicken fillets, salt, black pepper and noodles. Stir and cook on simmer till the chicken pieces look soft and the noodles are also cooked.
Once the soup is thickened, pour in the soup bowls. Garnish with thyme and serve chicken noodles and vegetables soup hot.
