Egg Pakora Curry Recipe
Egg is a favourite item for almost every one in the family. Kids especially love to eat eggs. Eggs are loved by all in every form, whether it is boiled or made into an omelette. But today we are going to try out a completely different recipe with eggs which is unusual and tasty as well.
Egg pakora curry is a unique recipe to try. The eggs are combined with boiled potatoes and gram flour to make soft and delicious pakoras. Then they are dipped into a spicy curry which makes this egg recipe an absolute delight.

Ingredients
For Pakoras
- Eggs- 2
- Potatoes- 2 (boiled and mashed)
- Besan (gram flour)- 2tbsp
- Onion- 1 (finely chopped)
- Salt- as per taste
- Oil- for deep frying
For Curry
- Onion paste- 2tbsp
- Ginger-garlic paste- 2tsp
- Tomato puree- 2tbsp
- Cumin seeds- 1tsp
- Turmeric powder- 1tsp
- Red chilli powder- 1tsp
- Cumin powder- 1tsp
- Coriander powder- 1tsp
- Garam masala powder- ½ tsp
- Salt- as per taste
- Coriander leaves- 2tbsp (chopped)
- Oil- 2tbsp
Procedure
1.
Break
the
eggs
carefully
with
a
spoon
and
pour
the
contents
into
a
mixing
bowl.
2.
Add
the
boiled
and
mashed
potatoes,
chopped
onion,
besan
and
salt
to
the
mixing
bowl.
Whisk
the
mixture
properly
with
a
help
of
a
spoon
or
a
egg
beater.
3.
Heat
oil
for
deep
frying
in
a
pan.
4.
Take
a
tablespoon
full
of
the
egg
mixture
and
pour
it
in
the
oil
when
it
is
hot.
5.
Fry
the
pakoras
in
batches
on
medium
heat.
Wait
till
it
turns
golden
brown
in
colour.
6.
Once
done,
transfer
the
pakoras
to
a
plate
and
keep
it
aside.
7.
Now
heat
two
tablespoon
of
oil
in
a
pan
and
add
cumin
seeds
to
it.
8.
Once
the
seeds
start
to
splutter,
add
onion
paste
and
fry
for
3-4
minutes
on
a
medium
flame.
9.
Then
add
the
ginger-garlic
paste
and
fry
for
2-3
minutes.
10.
Next
add
the
tomato
puree,
turmeric
powder,
red
chilli
powder,
cumin
powder,
coriander
powder
and
saute
for
3-4
minutes.
11.
Now
add
salt
and
garam
masala
powder
and
mix
well.
12.
Then
add
half
a
cup
of
water
and
let
the
gravy
simmer
for
2-3
minutes.
13.
Now
mix
in
the
fried
pakoras
with
gravy
carefully.
14.
Once
done,
switch
off
the
flame
and
garnish
with
chopped
coriander
leaves.
