Lakme Fashion Week 2015: Kalki Walks For Nishka Lulla
Fashion designer and celebrity favourite, Nishka Lulla presented her summer 2015 collection. The designer is known for her bohemian style and showcased a comfortable collection to beat summer heat yet stay stylish.
Nishka says her label stands for comfortable, easy-to-wear and versatile clothing and this reflects in her LFW Summer/Resort 2015 collection as well. "It's an amalgamation of textures and colours. I'm inspired by travel and nature and the collection is an extension of the same. It's something really feminine and flowy," says the designer.
"The colour palette is that of pastels, iridescence, with bright feminine colours." Interestingly, the daughter of ace fashion designer, Neeta Lulla did not take any help from her for her summer 2015 collection. "I did not actually, our styles are completely different. We are highly appreciative of each other's work though," Nishka said.
Her summer 2015 collection was feminine yet edgy. She used fabrics such as muslin, organza laces with an iridescent touch.

Kalki Koechlin turned showstopper for Nishka Lulla at Lakme Fashion Week Summer Resort 2015. She came all excited in an all white sheer top with floral motifs and white culotte pants.
The colour palette consists of neutrals and pastels such as ivory, glacier grey, ice blue, strawberry pink, almond as well as classic blue and marsala red.
Royal white was also used to create elegant yet stylish summer creations. Sheer jackets, shirt dresses and shorts looked chic. We also saw culottes.
We saw flowy silhouettes which went with her romantic themed summer show.
