Desi Look At Filmfare Awards South 2015
The 62nd Filmfare Awards South was one of the most glamorous events this weekend. Stunning South actresses stepped out to grace the red carpet of the biggest awards night. The red carpet fashion was a mixed bag. We saw gowns, sarees, silhouettes and anarkalis as well.
While Shriya Saran opted for a teal coloured Monisha Jaising fusion saree, Shruti Hassan turned heads in a sheer plunging neckline crop top and long skirt by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla.
A lot of South Indian beauties dressed in sarees. Shriya Saran, Sumalatha and Poonam Bajwa to name a few, looked ethnic in beautifully draped sarees.
BEST DRESSED AT FILMFARE AWARDS SOUTH
Apart from sarees, some of the South Indian actresses wore heavily embellished anarkalis at the Filmfare Awards South 2015.
One of the best dressed actresses at Filmfare Awards South 2015 red carpet was Nikki Galrani. The gorgeous actress went desi in a lehenga which was worn with a heavy embellished strapless blouse.

Shriya Saran: The actress wore a teal coloured Monisha Jaising designed fusion saree with a beautifully embellished bling piece on the shoulder.

Sumalatha: The actress wore a classic black and golden Kanjeevaram saree with a three-quarter sleeve blouse.

Sanjjana: Sanjjana opted for a black lehenga which was worn with a heavily embroidered red and golden crop blouse, and a red dupatta.

Shreya Ghosal: The beautiful singer wore a pink floor length anarkali with silver embellishment all over it. The bodice of the anarkali featured floral print thread work in different colours.

Priyamani: The actress looked breathtaking in a desi look. Priyamani wore a black and golden heavy full sleeve blouse with a flared net lehenga skirt.

Nadiya: Nadiya looked simple yet elegant in a pink cotton saree. She contrasted the pink saree featuring light golden borders with a silk indigo blue three-quarter sleeved blouse.

Nikki Galrani: One of the best dressed actresses at Filmfare Awards South 2015 red carpet was Nikki Galrani. The gorgeous actress went desi in a lehenga which was worn with a heavy embellished strapless blouse.

Poonam Bajwa: Keeping up with the lace, Poonam looked sophisticated in a plain black lace saree.

Jayaprada: The yesteryear beauty wore a heavily embroidered floor length anarkali.

Jyothika: The actress wore a printed kurti with dhoti styled pants.
