Maliaka &Amrita Puri At Wendell Rodricks Party

The big news is that renowned fashion designer Wendell Rodericks will be receiving a Padma Shri shortly. As you all know, that is the highest civilian award for any Indian citizen. Thus, it is party time for the fashion fraternity. The Stylista party was thrown in honour of Wendell Rodricks last night. And Maliaka Arora Khan was in a Wendell Rodricks jumpsuit to show her loyalty.

Also present at the party was actress Amrita Puri in a dress from Ritu Kumar's label. Amrita Puri of ‘Ayesha' fame also came out to support fashion designer Wendell Rodericks. So a fashionable war between the two Bollywood divas is the inevitable outcome.Maliaka Arora Khan's Wendell Rodericks jumpsuit was rather disappointing. There was nothing wrong with the black one shoulder jumpsuit as such. But Maliaka did not wear the outfit too well. The jumpsuit was a wee bit too long for Malika Arora Khan and she seemed to be wearing men's shoes with the outfit. The cape, the black belt and the ponytail hairstyle were all perfect. But the black clutch that Maliaka was carry did not go well with this outfit. You could say that the entire ensemble was way too heavy on ‘black'. In fact, there was no spunk of colour in Maliaka's look apart from black.

Contrary to Malika's ‘dark' ensemble, Amrita Puri was in address that resonated colour and cheer. The maxi dress from Ritu Kumar was like a breath of fresh air. We love the yellow and green block prints on the white chiffon dress. Amrita Puri looked serenely beautiful in this sleeveless maxi dress. And the top knot set off her look nicely.

If there has to be a verdict it will go in Amrita Puri's favour. We understand that Malika Arora Khan wanted to wear Wendell Rodricks to the Stylista party but she did not plan her outfit well. And the atrocious choice of shoes marred her look completely.
