Sabyasachi Mukherjee called this collection as Lakme Absolute Royal. The collection will pay tribute to the regal era of queens on the runway. Sabyasachi Mukherjee used modern designs keeping tradition and culture in mind. Sabyasachi said, "It's (collection) about modern princess who has strong cosmopolitan identity but also believes in tradition and culture. However, the fashion designer focused on women more. Lehengas, sarees, high waist skirts, printed jackets, blazers and sherwani were seen on the ramp.
We expected a celebrity showstopper for one of the Bollywood's favourite designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee. However, Sabyasachi didn't need any showstopper for his collection. "We have a no show stopper policy. I would like my models to display my collection. I feel they reflect my collection aptly.
