IIJW'13 Day 1: Jewellery By Gitanjali Gems
Gitanjali Gems showcased its new jewellery collection at the Day 1 of IIJW 2013. The ongoing India International Jewellery Week 2013 commenced on Sunday (4th August) at Grand Hyatt, Mumbai. Few well-known jewellery brands showcased its gold and diamond collection on the ramp.
We saw many celebrities gracing the ramp on Day 1 of IIJW wearing Gitanjali Gems creations. From Bollywood to television, celebrities walked the ramp in amazing creations by Gitanjali Gems on Day 1 of IIJW 2013. Many television personalities like Divyanka Tripathi, Sayantani Ghosh and Barkha Bisht to name a few have walked on Day 1 of IIJW 2013 for Gitanjali Gems. Few television celebrities walked the ramp with their real life partner. Karan Mehra and Nisha Rawal Mehra walked the ramp holding each others hand.
From the beginning of the show, we knew that there would be a Bollywood celebrity showstopper. There were indeed two celebrity showstoppers for Gitanjali Gems. It was Sonakshi Sinha and co-star Akshay Kumar. The OUTIMD onscreen couple walked the ramp together for Gitanjali Gems. Sonakshi Sinha looked breathtaking in a blue sheer gown. The plunging neckline gave enough space to flaunt the diamond necklace. She was shining bright in diamond chandelier earrings. Take a look at the Gitanjali Gems show on Day 1 of IIJW 2013.

Gold Rani Haar
The gold rani haar looks amazing with the traditional wear. The necklace has an uncut ruby on the centre which makes it look more colourful and bright.
Jadau Necklace
For a simple occasion, you can try this jadau necklace with or without earrings. The emerald drop at the end looks good on Sayantani Ghosh.
Mangalsutra
Married women wear mangalsutra on a regular basis. For special occasions, you can keep it simple yet stylish by teaming up with dangling jhumkas. Barkha Bisht was seen showcasing the same.

Ruby and Diamond Necklace
Divyanka Tripathi was one of the television celebrities who walked the ramp for Gitanjali Gems at IIJW 2013. The diamond necklace has ruby crystals in it and looks great!
Diamond and Emerald Necklace
This is another creation by Gitanjali Gems that was showcased on Day 1 of IIJW 2013. It has been teamed up with a matching earring.
Emerald
Green emerald stoned were blended with diamond to create colourful and shiny jewellery.
Showstopper
Sonakshi Sinha wore a diamond necklace with a matching chandelier earrings as she walked for Gitanjali Gems at Day 1 of IIJW 2013.
