Jasmine flower or chameli is commonly used in the making of perfume for women and nothing can beat the essence of this flower. This flower is traditionally used in treating several disorders like fever, vomiting, headache, eye disorders, etc. More than being a health benefit product, this flower is known for being used in skin care. Jasmine flower has a moisturizing property which makes it an important part of any beauty regime.

1. Face mask

Jasmine flower contains moisturizing properties which help to keep your skin healthy and glowing. You should take a few jasmine flowers and soak them in water. Now puree them adding 1-2 spoons of milk. Apply this on your face and leave it for 10 minutes. Wash off with cold water later. Applying this face mask can help to hydrate and moisturize your skin properly.


2. Anti-ageing benefits

Jasmine or chameli is not only known for its property to hydrate and moisturize the skin thoroughly but it also helps to treat anti-ageing signs on the skin and prevents the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines on the face as well. Make a puree of jasmine flowers and mix it with sandalwood powder and milk and apply it on your face. Now wash off with cold water again. This face mask is excellent for women who are 30 plus as it can help to remove dead skin cells, rejuvenate your skin and provide a natural glow to the skin.


3. For a refreshing bath

Chameli or jasmine flowers can also be used for a refreshing bath. You can add chameli flowers to the bathing water. Bathing with this water refreshes your skin. If needed, you can also add jasmine essential oil to the water. If you are suffering from a headache, soaking in jasmine flower water for some time is an excellent remedy.

Chameli or jasmine can also be used to treat acne easily. If you are scared to use any cream or moisturizer on the face while dealing with acne, you should make use of jasmine paste. Make a puree of jasmine flower by adding some milk and then apply this paste on your face regularly. This pack can help to relieve acne, pimples and zits on the face easily. This remedy is equally helpful in treating back acne.


6. For hair conditioning

Jasmine flower is not only useful for the skin, it also helps to condition your hair as well. Due to the moisturizing properties found in jasmine flower, it can help to condition your hair thoroughly. Soak some jasmine flowers in warm water and leave it for some time. Now use this water once it cools down. Rinse off your hair with this water thoroughly. This water not only conditions your hair, but also strengthens the roots as well.

Jasmine flower can also help to give you hydrated and smooth skin. Products having jasmine flower essence can have the same effect on the skin. If needed, you can add some jasmine flower extract or jasmine essential oil to your favourite cream and use it on a daily basis.
