Rice water is extremely cheap, as rice is something that can be found in almost all kitchens, and it is a part of the staple diet for many. The best way to use rice water would be to strain it right after the rice is boiled and then let it sit for a while.
It takes 24-48 hours for the rice water to get fermented and rice water in its fermented state is best for skin, although it may need to be diluted with water further.
Many Asian women use rice water on a regular basis for their hair and skin needs. And now, thanks to the advent of the internet and the entire world being well connected, you too can use rice water for your skin.
So, here are the many ways in which rice water can help your skin.

Acne can leave behind stubborn marks. To get rid of these marks, apply a little diluted rice water mixed with turmeric.

Wrinkles:
Rice water is known to slow down the ageing process. In fact, this is one of the reasons why Asian women seem to have such young-looking skin.

Pores:
Enlarged pores can be quite an unsightly affair. Use a cotton ball to apply diluted rice water on your skin, especially where the pores are really large; and they will shrink.

Tan:
Apply rice water all over the areas that have been tanned. Leave it on for a maximum of 30 minutes and then wash it off. That's how you can use rice water for clear skin and thereby to reduce tan.

Blackheads:
Apply warm rice water on the area where you have blackheads, and then rub it off after it dries. This may take a few attempts to actually work, so don't lose patience.

Loose Skin:
Applying rice water is one of the best things to do for people who have loose skin. This happens when the skin does not produce as much collagen as it once used to.
