Skin Care Tips For The Groom-To-Be
The bride is always pampered with spa, stylists, makeup and an entire paraphernalia to make her look good on the wedding day. On the other hand, groom has to depend only on his good looks to ride him through. That is why, the groom needs skin care that is much more intensive than the bride. But unfortunately, most men shun grooming as a feminine activity.
But if you are a groom-to-be don't ignore and hesitate to care for your skin. Men are prone to acne just as much as women. If you get a nasty pimple on your face just before the wedding, you can't even use concealer to hide it! So the groom-to-be should care for his skin before hand to avoid any catastrophes at the last minute.
There are no 'grooming' packages for men like there are bridal packages for women. So men have to depend on their own ingenuity and knowledge for skin care. Since the groom won't really ask anyone for skin care tips, we are here to help.
Here are some grooming tips for the groom-to-be. These skin care tips will help you look your best at the wedding day.
Use A Face wash
vSoap makes your skin dry so please get a face wash to cleanse your face. And it is important to wash your face every night to avoid acne before the wedding.
Drink Lemon-Honey Warm Water
Many a times acne breakouts happen because of constipation. Drink a glass of warm water with lemon and honey every morning to keep your bowel movements clear.
Shave Regularly
If you don't shave regularly, in-growth of beard may also result in pimples. To avoid this, shave regularly at least for a month before the wedding. Or else, maintain a neat stubble.
Drink Lots Of Water
When you drink water, the toxins get flushed out of your body. Having 4 litres of water every day is the best way to look radiant on your special day.
Apply Night Cream
Apply a moisturiser on your skin before you go to sleep. This will protect the skin from becoming rough and patchy. Follow this regularly to get good results.
Get A Sunscreen Lotion
You might think that tan looks hot on you. But the sun causes more skin damage than tan. Use a sunscreen to avoid sun spots and dark patches on your face.
Chuck Coffee
Coffee and other caffeinated beverages are the prime cause of pimples and skin problems. Limit your intake of coffee for a few months before the wedding.
Drinking Beer Is A Good Idea
Beer on the other hand is good for your skin. Have moderate amounts of beer to get clear glowing skin before your wedding. Now don't binge on beer or else you will have a beer belly.
Sweat It Out
Sweating it good for the skin because it expels all the toxins. So sweat it out in the gym to have a clear face before the big day.
Apply Natural Face Packs Once A Week
Make natural face packs with natural ingredients like turmeric, cucumber, milk, cream and besan. Apply it on your face at least once a week.
