Red lipstick makes your lips prominent and defines them so that all the focus is on your lips and draws attention away from you other facial features. Therefore, you have to be more precise with your red lipstick as it defines your lisp.
A bold red lipstick as the name indicates makes you look bold and outstanding. The shade of red which you select must suit you as well. Don't choose the shade blindly thinking that it suits your friend and will go well with you also.

Choose The Right Shade
There are different shades of red lipstick and you must know which shade suits you. You must not blindly wear any shade. You need to experiment and see which red shade suits best for you.
Exfoliate Your Lips
Before applying red lipstick, exfoliate your lisp gently with a soft tooth brush. You can also put olive oil or coconut oil on the brush and then remove the dead skin cells and flaky dry skin. This will also make your lips plump and bigger.
Moisturise Your Lips
Moisturise and hydrate your lisp with a lip balm or shea butter cream before applying red lipstick. Massage gently on your lips and then wait for 10 minutes to let the moisturiser get absorbed into your lips.
Apply Lip Liner First
Define your lips fist with a lip liner first. You can just line the lips just outside your natural lip line to make them bigger. Applying lip liner will prevent the bleeding of you lipstick.
Apply Foundation First
If you want your lipstick yo last for linger, just dab some foundation on your lips before applying lipstick. This will make your lipstick last longer as the foundation will hold it on your lips for a longer time.
Tip For Imperfections
If your lipstick gets a bit irregular or leaks outside the lips, to make it perfect line your lips with a pencil having the same shade as your lipstick. You can also apply a concealer on the areas outside the lips where the lipstick bleeds.
