The Omega 3 Therapy
Omega 3 is a healthy solution to split end problems. How to apply it on hair is the question? Well alone omega 3 cannot be applied directly to hair and so a DIY mixture has to be made at home. This omega 3 mixture is meant for one-time use only (for everytime you make). Use it once on hair and prepare fresh the next time you want to do. This omega 3 therapy can also have addition of 6-oils if you get in the market.
Process
- In a large pan, take around six omega 3 capsules with coconut and lavender oil.
- Place the pan on the stove and boil this for five-eight minutes.
- Let it cool and you can apply the mixture on your hair directly only on the split ends and not elsewhere.
- If applying is tough, store the entire mixture in a deep vessel and dip your split ends in it.
- You have to let the mixture rest on your hair for 40-minutes at least for good outcome.
- End the therapy with a hair shampoo in cold water.
The Beer Therapy
Many use beer as hair conditioner but get shocked to know that beer works so good on split ends. Please note, for beer therapy you have to use real beer and no beer flavoured shampoo.
Process
- Get an old hair spray bottle and clean it nicely.
- Pour the entire beer in the hair spray bottle. Close the spray bottle tightly.
- Wash your hair with cold water and tap it dry.
- Now split your wet hair into sections and you can apply the beer spray over the mid- and end sections.
- After five minutes wash your hair completely and you can use a shampoo now. This can be repeated once in a week.
The Vitamin E Therapy
When it comes to vitamin E for split ends - it works great. However often we don't know how to apply the vitamin E on the split ends of the hair as it comes in pill form. Well, there is no shortcut in application of vitamin E to hair split ends and you have to follow this with an elaborate therapy method.

- Two, mix only the oil of few Vitamin E capsules in lukewarm water and create a wet mix. Massage the split strands of your hair. This is also a good way to grow new hair on the scalp.
The Milk And Cream Therapy
Milk caters to all skin problems and no different is in case of split ends. In this therapy, there is use of both milk and cream together by combining into a paste form. If you want a quick relief from your split end problem then do try the milk and cream therapy repeating which twice in a week can resolve your issue.
Process
- In a bowl, keep a tablespoon of cream and pour a half cup of milk in it. Whisk this until it is thick and completely mixed.
- Apply the mixture on your entire hair wth hands or brush evenly. The rest time is fifteen minutes and in a month's use, you will see the difference.
Off To Bed Therapy
A massive hair damage happens when we sleep as the hair rubs against the pillow and bed this takes off its natural oils and makes it harsh. The remedy here first is changing your pillow case to a silk one for the fabric helps to protect your hair. Next coming to the off to bed therapy, it has to be followed every day for sanguine results.

The Desi Ghee Therapy
Split ends happen when your hair or scalp is not getting adequate moisture. Also, towels and exposure to sunlight take off the natural oils which result in more pathetic state of the hair. To simplify the state, here is a simple moisturizing hair therapy that you can do at home from tonight. It is good if you have an aunt, sister or mother to help you in this - or you can manage it alone.
Process
- Take a bowl full of lukewarm ghee and massage it all over your hair.
- When it comes to split ends be generous to apply more ghee.
- Do it at the end of the day as with the ghee on your hair you can't step out of the house and also you have to give the ghee time to rest on your head.
- After applying ghee and before going to bed - do not forget to tie your hair into a clean braid and wrap with a scarf or shower cap.
