6 Deep-Conditioning Masks To Take Care Of Coloured Hair!
Who doesn't know about hair coloring? Nowadays, everybody is coloring their hair. The market abounds with a plethora of hair-colouring options whether you want to highlight your hair, want hair streaks or you just want to camouflage those irritating grey hairs. This article lists deep conditioning masks for coloured hair that could help manage coloured hair better.
The worst part of hair colouring is that the dye contains chemicals like ammonia which can make your hair turn rough and brittle.
Colouring your hair makes you look stylish; however, it also leaves your hair very dry and frizzy. Using some easy homemade masks is not only a cheaper option, but they are also devoid of harsh chemicals.
Following are some of the deep conditioning masks for coloured hair which you can try at your home to protect your coloured hair from getting damaged:

Avocado and Banana Mask
Avocados and bananas both consist of soothing nutrients that help you to treat your coloured hair. The best outcome can be achieved if both the fruits are rotten or softer. Mash both the fruits to make a paste. Apply this mask on your hair and leave it on for about fifteen minutes. Thereafter, wash it off with normal water.

Yogurt and Banana Mask
If you have long hair, take 2 ripe bananas; and for short hair, just one banana would be enough. Mash the banana with a sieve to make a fine paste. Add about 1 tbsp of yogurt, ½ a tbsp of coconut oil and ½ a tbsp of extra-virgin olive oil to the above banana paste. Apply this paste on your scalp as well as on your hair. Cover your head with a shower cap. Leave this deep-conditioning mask on your coloured hair for about 30 to 40 minutes and then rinse it off with tepid water, followed by shampooing and conditioning.

Mayonnaise and Avocado Mask
Take half an avocado and make a paste by mashing it using a sieve. Take 3 tbsp of mayonnaise and two egg yolks and add it to the avocado paste. Make a smooth paste by mixing all the ingredients properly. Apply this paste on your scalp and hair and give a gentle massage. Next, put a shower cap and tie your head with a hot towel. Leave this hair mask for 30 to 40 minutes and then wash it off with lukewarm water. Lastly, rinse your hair with a shampoo as well as a conditioner of your choice. Mayonnaise and avocado mask helps to bring back the lustre of your damaged coloured hair.

Egg and Mayonnaise Mask
In order to rejuvenate your coloured hair, make sure to use a protein mask on your hair at least once a week. Mayonnaise and egg mask is an excellent protein mask which helps to revive your dyed hair. Apply this mask onto your head for half an hour and then wash it off with tepid water. Follow it with normal shampoo and conditioning.

Egg Yolk and Castor Oil Mask
Take about 1 tsp of castor oil and yolk of an egg, mix them well in a bowl. Take a capsule of Vitamin E soft gel and squeeze it in the bowl. Apply this paste on your hair and follow it up by a gentle massage. Put on a shower cap to lock the mask in. Leave this mask for minimum half an hour and then rinse it off with lukewarm water, followed by shampooing and conditioning.

Banana and Almond Oil Mask
This is an amazing mask to fortify and hydrate your coloured hair. Take a bowl, and pour about 9-10 drops of almond oil (sweet). Take a ripe banana and mash it well using a sieve. Add this banana paste to the bowl and mix the ingredients nicely. Apply this mask on your hair, followed by a gentle massage. Put on a shower cap on your head to protect the mask and keep it on for half an hour. Wash it off with tepid water and thereafter, use your normal shampoo and conditioner.
