DIY Homemade Tea Tree Oil Shampoo To Treat Dandruff
Many of us put in a lot of effort to make our hair look beautiful. Styling it with the latest do-overs, straightening, curling, etc, you name it! However, many a times, we tend to ignore the health of our tresses.
While we can agree that having a great hair-do can up your style quotient, it is also true that if your hair and scalp are unhealthy or unhygienic, it can only hamper your overall look.
So, it is crucial to maintain the health of your mane, inside and out, to make it look radiant naturally. Quick-fix remedies that make your hair look glossy and stylish may not help in the long run.

Due to various negative factors such as hormonal imbalance, pollutants, lack of hygiene, oily or dry scalp, etc, many people develop dandruff, which is a condition wherein the scalp becomes infected with fungal growth and starts flaking.
Dandruff can be a very undesirable condition that also makes your hair unhealthy and causes symptoms like itching and flaking.
So, if you are looking for a natural way to treat dandruff using inexpensive kitchen ingredients, you should definitely try this tea tree oil shampoo that you can make at home!

Recipe To Prepare The Shampoo
Ingredients Required:
- Tea tree oil - 3 tablespoons
- Liquid castile soap - 1½ tablespoons
Tea tree oil has been used in various natural cosmetics for its numerous skin and hair benefits. This oil has the ability to hydrate your scalp effectively to keep it moisturised, thereby eliminating dryness and flaking.
Tea tree oil is also known to possess anti-fungal properties that can kill the dandruff-causing bacteria effectively. In addition, tea tree oil can also soothe inflammation, itching and irritation on the scalp and help in keeping your hair and scalp refreshed!
Liquid castile soap is an odourless liquid, with no added chemicals, that acts as a cleansing base to your shampoo to help create lather.
