Best Hairstyles To Sleep In: Hair Care Tips

By Deepa

Managing a hair do in the morning can be really tedious. Consider a situation where you woke up really late in the morning. You have half an hour to finish your daily chores and get ready to head to a meeting with your CEO. Now, that’s some deal! While you are getting ready, your hair poses an unimaginably messy situation for you as you slept in leaving it open. Now, they are a tangled lot that just seem impossible to untangle. How would you react? Frustrated, and possibly a little hyper!

You just wish you did not have such long hair or probably had done something with your hair. While touching up at the last moment, just before stepping in for that meeting is possible, untangling that messy hair can seem impossible. Your best bet is caring for your hair, making sure you have tied your hair either in a bun or done something with it so that they are manageable when you wake up. This severely affects people who are born with curly hair. Curls in general take up longer time than usual to get into perfect shape and tangles is the last thing a curly hair owner would want. So, here are a few hairstyles that you can choose to use during the night to wake up to untangled hair.

The Loose Buntail

If you want to avoid tangles and frizz in your hair and wish to get the hair ready in a span of five minutes flat, you can consider this for the night before. You will need to apply a frizz taming lotion to your hair. Brush your hair with light bristles. Flip your head, gather the hair and pull it up as a high ponytail. Now tie the ends of the ponytail with a lose elastic into a bun shape. There, your bun tail is ready and your morning's going to be easy. This is one of the best hairstyles to sleep in.

Plait Your Hair

To save from tangles, you can tie your hair into a loose plait. It works well especially in both hair care as well as keeping your hair tangle free. When you wake up the next morning, there's no tangle. But, possibly there could be another issue, the frizz issue. You can also wake up to wavy hair. But that's more manageable than tangled hair, right?

The Curl Trick

The Curl Trick

This hairstyle while sleeping works best for those with curly hair. You need to apply a texturising cream to your hair. Now slide your hair to make a nice partition visible. Now begin with 2 inch of your front hair, loosely curl it around your fingers multiple times, then get the bobby pin and fix that curled hair with that bobby pin. Keep doing it till all the hair on your head is perfectly pinned up. When you wake up, remove that pin and enjoy tangle free hair.

Cover Your Hair

You can use a scarf or possibly a nightcap to cover your hair. This way your hair would stay covered and you don't really have to style it up to keep it tangle free. Of course, you need to tie the scarf in a way that it does not slip off else you will have tangles the next morning. Also, the elastic can cause issues too. So, get a nightcap that does not have elastic that pains.

High Ponytail Or Loose Tail

Here's a simple but one of the best hairstyles to opt for while sleeping! Tie your hair into a high ponytail or a lose pony tail. Either ways, your hair's tied, no chance of it curling up or tangling. Only issue would be the pain the rubber band's elastic can cause.
