Homemade Fruit Hair Conditioners
It is often advised to apply a hair conditioner after shampooing. There are many benefits of hair conditioning. A hair conditioner keeps the hair manageable, smooth, silky and soft. A majority of people buy conditioner of the same shampoo brand. However, some natural and homemade hair packs and conditioners can help you get better results. Why opt for chemical based hair products when you can try homemade conditioners using simple ingredients? If you love home remedies then you can try some fruit hair conditioners.
Homemade hair conditioners are made with yoghurt, beer, vinegar or eggs. How about using fruits as an ingredient to condition your hair and make it smooth and soft? Check out some easy to make homemade fruit hair conditioners and treat dry or frizzy hair.
Fruit hair conditioners:
Banana: This fruit offers many benefits to the hair. It is a home remedy to treat dry, frizzy and dull hair. You can make a homemade banana hair pack by using milk or yoghurt or lemon juice. Mashed banana with honey and milk is a popular hair conditioner. Apply it on your hair and scalp; leave it for 30 minutes. Rinse with cold water to get soft and silky hair.
Papaya: Want to condition your hair with some fruits at home? Mash a ripe papaya. Add yoghurt and 1-2 drops of glycerine. Mix well and apply on your hair. Leave for 30-45 minutes. Rinse with cold water to get soft, silk and shiny hair. Papaya hair packs also helps treat split ends.
Avocado: It is another fruit that can help condition your hair. Boil and mash an avocado fruit. Add few drops of honey, unrefined shea butter, apple cider vinegar and yoghurt. Mix well and then apply on your hair. Leave for 25-30 minutes. Rinse with cold water.
Pear: The pear fruit hair conditioner is very popular. Mix bear fruit with shea butter, coconut oil and honey. Apply it on damp hair and cover with a hair cap. Leave for 30 minutes. Rinse with cold water to get soft and conditioned hair.
Strawberry: For getting silky and glossy hair, try this homemade fruit hair conditioner. Mash strawberries and add mayonnaise or yoghurt. Apply on damp hair and leave for 30 minutes. Rinse with cold water to get conditioned hair. You can also mix strawberries with milk and apply it on your hair.
