Stay Away From These Hairstylists
Today, there are innumerable hair salons across the country. But the question is how many of them are good enough for the prices charged. Many hairstylists aren't well certified with a diploma or degree on cosmetology. Today, we would like to share some personal experiences that will help to watch out and keep a check on your hairstylists.
Many salons in India appoint school and college drop outs to assist in parlors as they do not demand more money. These untrained stylists know nothing or do not have any knowledge about hair care and treatments.
These stylists fill local products like shampoos and conditioners in branded bottles or even dilute branded shampoos with water or other soap solutions which are definitely bad for hair.
Some very famous salons in metros do not have water facilities and store water in buckets and use them for hair wash and in hair sprays that result in itchy scalp. Even the combs, scissors are cleaned with the same water. The bath area where they give a hair wash are extremely dirty and stinky but the charges are exorbitant.
Many tools that the hairstylists and hairdressers use like metallic scissors are rusty and damage the hair. The towels are damp and smell bad as they do not dry them well.
Some hairstylists use their combs for clients. The tools and products that are specifically maintained for clients are utilized for personal needs. You may often find stylists having a comb stuck to their hair like as if its a fashion and use the same tool to comb your hair.
With so less knowledge about cleanliness and zero education about cosmetology how can people have their natural beauty at risk?. Why isn't the government not very keen on forcing rules and restrictions on salons and parlors. It is time to wake up and have some awareness to stay away from these risky hairstylists, the so-called “hair experts".
