Common Beauty Problems During Monsoon With Their Home Remedies
Here is a list of beauty problems that happen during monsoon season with their home remedies.
Skin and hair problems go gross during the monsoon time. In fact, they go hand in hand and you get confused on how to treat each of these. These skin problems are common in monsoon since the weather changes and the skin often comes in contact with rain water.
Even if you manage to avoid the rain, the constant gloominess and humidity all around you make beauty problems related to the skin and hair a harrowing experience.
So that you don't spend time on these beauty problems and enjoy the rainy season, we've listed the common monsoon-based beauty problems and their effective home remedies.
Pros, Cons And Tips Of Hair Colour At One Read
Once you see any of these common skin or hair problems happening during the monsoon time, start with these home remedies. These home remedies will provide a preliminary relief and not let the problem become worse.
Moist Dull Hair
It's so common during the monsoon time that at night you get drenched and your hair shows it even till the next morning. The hair is dull and moist which does not allow you to switch your hair, any way.
Remedy: Use a dryer to completely dry your hair. Next, take a dry shampoo and apply it on the roots of your hair. Massage the dry shampoo all over your scalp and you will see an instant change in the state of your hair. Do not use a dry shampoo on wet and moist hair.
Skin Rash And Allergy
A very common problem on the skin during monsoon is rash and allergy, which can happen on any part of the body. This can happen even if you do not step out of the house. This makes the skin become swollen, red and itchy.
Remedy: Once you get the monsoon skin rash or allergy, the first home remedy is ice. If the direct application of ice is not very pleasing to you, wrap an ice pack in a hand towel and use it as a compress. Also, you can apply fresh aloe vera gel on these skin outbursts for complete relief.
Hyperhidrosis
To simplify, this means extra sweating. Extra sweating happens only in specific body parts like underarms, palms, neck, feet, scalp and the torso. It's the concentration of the body sweat that can lead to adverse skin problems.
Remedy: For hyperhidrosis, there are many home remedies to follow. Start with the simplest one, where you cut a potato from the center and rub it on the area of extra sweat. Application of raw tea on these areas also minimizes extra sweating on the body.
Nail Infection
Nail Infections happen during the monsoon time in the form of discolouration, dull and dry nails. Before you try finding out what went wrong in your nail care, learn that nail infection during monsoon is a fungal problem backed by home remedies.
Remedy: Dipping your nail in lime water makes it revive its natural colour. You can also dip your nails in cold water for 15 minutes every day to maintain your nails in a healthy and neat condition.
Athlete's Foot
As you often tend to wear wet shoes during the monsoon time, it is very common to be affected by athlete's foot. This happens from a bacteria called tinea and can spread all over the body. Along with discolouration and sensitivity, stinginess is an added problem of athlete's foot.
Remedy: Corn starch is a remedy for athlete's foot. If you get this, it is a warning that you should try and keep your feet dry.
Pus Boils
Boils happen on skin all through the year. During monsoon, this is filled with a liquid inside and is called a pus boil. This pus boil really bothers and bursts by the end. Pus boils usually leave a strong acne mark on the skin.
Remedy: The best way to treat a pus boil is to apply warm compress 3-5 times every day. This warm water compress should be done when the pus boil is intact. Once the pus boil bursts and its fluid is out, the area should be cleansed with tea tree oil.
