The cooling effect of potato soothes the skin from sunburn. Make a paste of potato, by grinding it and apply it on affected area. Rinse after sometime.


Aloe Vera

Aloe vera is the best remedy for sunburn and damaged skin. Its cooling and soothing nature reduces the severity of sunburn. Apply aloe vera gel directly on the skin and rinse after it has dried.



Vinegar works best, to heal the sunburn by speeding up the healing process. Mix equal amounts of water with vinegar. Soak paper towels in this solution and place them on the affected area. Repeat this procedure twice a day.



The probiotics, calcium, protein and Zinc present in yoghurt heals and rejuvenates the sun damaged skin. It also reduces the redness caused due to sunburn. Yoghurt can be applied directly on skin.



Cucumber known for its soothing effect, it can be applied on the skin to get relief from sunburn. Apply cucumber paste on the affected part of skin and wash off after 20 minutes.


Baking Soda

Baking soda is the best way to treat sunburn naturally. It soothes the sunburn and gives quick relief. Mix some baking soda in water to make a paste, apply this paste directly on skin and rinse after 15 minutes.
