Avocado oil with beeswax and shea butter: This is a natural lip balm recipe that can be made easily at home. Melt beeswax in a double boiler process. In a double boiler process, you do not heat directly on flame. Place a small bowl under the bigger one. Fill the big bowl with 1 inch water. Add beeswax in the smaller bowl and put on flame. When the beeswax melts, add coconut oil and shea butter. Stir well so that the butter melts down completely. Now pour avocado oil and stir. Let it cool. Your natural avocado lip balm is ready! Store it in a lip balm container or tube. You can add essence of your favourite fruit such as strawberry, banana, litchi or peach. Essential oil is an alternative for essence.
