Shravan 2026: These 5 Zodiac Signs May Get Lord Shiva's Special Blessings This Year

Every year, Shravan brings out the same rituals across Indian homes - fasting on Mondays, a trip to the nearest Shiva temple, a lota of water poured over the Shivling. But astrologer Geetu Parmar believes this year carries something extra for a handful of zodiac signs.

"This month is considered very special for all 12 zodiac signs, as Lord Shiva is believed to shower his blessings on everyone," Parmar said. Still, she flags five signs - Aries, Cancer, Leo, Scorpio and Capricorn - as likely to see especially strong results this Shravan, each with its own remedy attached.

Cancer: The Sign Closest To Shiva Himself

Parmar starts with Cancer, ruled by the Moon, a planet mythologically placed on Lord Shiva's head. "This Rashi is considered particularly close to Mahadev," she said, using the Sanskrit term for Lord Shiva.

She believes people born under this sign could finally see movement on issues that have dragged on. "People born under Cancer may see relief from the tensions they have been experiencing, including family problems, financial issues, stuck money and a lack of opportunities," she said.

Her suggested remedy: offering a mixture of raw milk and Ganga water on the Shivling every Monday.

Aries: A Window For Career And Money

For Aries, ruled by Mars, the planet Parmar associates with energy and courage, the period ahead could open doors professionally. "This period can bring new opportunities in career and business, along with improvement in their financial situation," she said.

The remedy here is more elaborate: filling a copper pot with clean water, adding a little red sandalwood and red flowers, and offering it to Lord Shiva.

Leo: Confidence, Recognition And Better Health

Leo, a sign Parmar links to strength and leadership, may see its luck shift this monsoon. "They may receive greater respect and recognition in their workplace and social surroundings, their self-confidence may increase, and existing health concerns may improve," she said.

Her remedy for Leo: adding a little jaggery and honey to water before offering it to Lord Shiva, followed by a sandalwood tilak.

Scorpio: Long-Pending Problems May Finally Move

Scorpio, too, could receive what Parmar calls Lord Shiva's "special grace" this Shravan. "Those facing long-standing problems or challenges may find opportunities to overcome them, and working professionals may have chances of getting the promotion they have been hoping for," she said.

She recommends pairing the remedy with a well-known chant: adding honey to water, offering it to Lord Shiva, and reciting the Mahamrityunjaya Mantra.

Capricorn: Relief From Saturn's Weight

Capricorn rounds off the list, ruled by Saturn, a planet Parmar describes as devoted to Lord Shiva. "They may experience relief from the negative effects associated with Saturn," she said, adding that those eyeing a big-ticket purchase could see things fall into place. "Those making efforts to purchase a vehicle or property may also see favourable developments."

Her remedy: offering black sesame seeds along with Ganga water on the Shivling, "with the belief that this can help reduce the burden of negative karma and bring greater stability," Parmar said.

Bottomline

Belief in astrology is, by nature, personal - some will read this as reassurance, others as a Shravan tradition worth trying regardless of the sign on their birth chart. Either way, Parmar's larger point holds: the month is meant for everyone, and these five signs are simply where she expects it to show up first.
