And you are so obsessed with it that you need it all the time. Some types of addiction are with chemical like drugs or caffeine. Other addictions are habits like watching television.
Although we may say that drug addiction is unhealthy when compared to watching television; but they both are equally dangerous. People get into different types of addiction when they are stressed or depressed. These addictions become dangerous overtime as the person becomes completely dependent on them.

Alcoholism
Addiction to alcohol can destroy your family life. Alcohol ruins your liver and central nervous system. But the worst thing is that, people become abusive under the influence of alcohol.
Smoking
Smoking is the worst of all addictions. It affects every apart of your body starting from your mouth and lungs. Smoking causes cancer and ruins your heart health. It also reduces the oxygen carrying capacity of your blood.
Marijuana
Marijuana is used for medicinal purpose in very rare cases. In most cases marijuana is an addiction and a very harmful one. You can lose control over your central nervous system if you are hooked on to grass.
Caffeine
This is a very common addiction but do not mistake to underestimate it. Coffee, tea and other caffeine containing beverages dehydrate your body. They also cause acidity and toxicity in your body. In rare cases, caffeine poisoning can also lead to death.
