Garlic chutney can add taste to many Indian dishes and snacks. You must have tasted the strong flavour of garlic inside a vada pav or might have licked with alu ka parantha in an Indian restaurant. This chutney is a traditional Indian recipe and can be made with other ingredients such as tomatoes or coconut. The red and spicy tomato garlic chutney recipe is very easy and can be made within 25-30 minutes. Here is the tomato garlic chutney recipe to add spice to the dishes or snacks.

Tomato garlic chutney, Indian recipe:

Ingredients

3-4 large garlic cloves
2-3 tomatoes
1 dried red chilli
1 tsp ginger
4-5 green chillies
1 tsp cumin seeds
' or 1 tsp red chilli powder
salt
oil/ghee

Directions to make tomato garlic chutney recipe:

1. Grind tomatoes, garlic, ginger, green chillies, dried red chilli to make a thick paste.

2. Heat ghee/oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. When they start to sparkle, add the garlic tomato paste and mix well. Add salt to it.

3. Cook for 3-4 minutes till it becomes red in colour.

Tomato garlic chutney, the Indian recipe is ready. You can store in refrigerator for 6-7 days.
