What Is Pradosh Vrat?
Pradosh Vrat is one of the significant fasting rituals that is observed by people belonging to the Hindu community. It falls on the Trayodashi Tithi or the 13th lunar day, during which devotees worship Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. There is a belief that these deities are extremely generous and happy on this day. This one occurs twice a month- once during the waxing phase (Shukla Paksha) and once during the waning phase (Krishna Paksha).

What Are The Reasons Behind Observing Pradosh Vrat?
On this day, devotees keep a fast, perform rituals and prayers, and make offerings to Lord Shiva. The fast is broken after sunset, followed by partaking Prasad or sacred food.
