Peace and tranquillity are the two aspects that everyone wants to achieve. And these are the very qualities that help you mould into a better person and bring you into close communion with God. There are many yoga poses that can help you attain peace and tranquillity of mind. Here are the yoga poses that will help you achieve peace of mind.
Bridge Pose- To attain peace of mind try this yoga. Lie on your back on the floor and then slowly lift your hips, pelvis and back off the ground. Your body will be in the shape of a bow after you have done this. Stay in this position for at least 3-5 minutes. It is one of the yoga poses that will relieve your mind of all the worries and woes and make it peaceful.

Lotus Position
Lotus position is one of the most popular of all yoga poses that offers multiple benefits.

Seated Forward Bend
Seated Forward Bend yoga is good for attaining peace of mind. Sit with your legs in front. Your spine must be straight while you sit in this position.

Standing Forward Bend
It is one of the effective yoga poses that benefits the mind a lot. It also makes the body flexible.

Pranayama
Pranayama is one of the simplest of all yoga poses for the peace of mind. Just sit cross-legged and keep both your hands on the knees. Close your eyes and inhale and exhale taking deep breaths.
Lotus Position- This is one of the most popular of all yoga poses that offers multiple benefits. Keep both your arms on the knees and then close your eyes. You have to keep your spine straight while you try this yoga for peace of mind. This maintains a proper blood flow to the brain. This is one of the ways of meditating in which you can open up your mind to many thoughts.
Seated Forward Bend- Seated Forward Bend yoga is good for attaining peace of mind. Sit with your legs in front. Your spine must be straight while you sit in this position. Stretch your hands above your head and exhale. Now bend forward and touch your feet. Do this for the next 8-10 minutes. After this yoga you will find great solace and peace of mind.
Standing Forward Bend- It is one of the effective yoga poses that benefits the mind a lot. It also makes the body flexible. This yoga will make you calm and de-stress you. Stand straight and then slowly bend your hands towards the floor without bending your knees. Place your palms on the either side of your feet on the floor. Stay in this position for a few minutes and then relax and come back to your original position.
Pranayama- Pranayama is one of the simplest of all yoga poses for the peace of mind. Just sit cross-legged and keep both your hands on the knees. Close your eyes and inhale and exhale taking deep breaths. Your chest will expand the time you breathe in and will deflate as soon as you breathe out. Do this for at least 15-20 minutes.
