Not Causing Injury
oi-Staff

Why should man who has experience, the pain of injury,Cause harm to be done to other beings?
A person, who has himself experienced the pain of injury, should never do harm to any other living creature. This is an emphatic re-statement of Kural 316. exactly the same sentiment is found by implication in the following passage of the Bible in the New Testament.
'Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do unto you, do ye even so unto them'
(Matt: 7,12)
