Compassion

This kural could be rendered in English thus, following K Srinivasan's effort:
The vast and flourishing wind-blown earth is witness to the fact,That those who practise compassion will never be subjected to suffering.
There is no further need to labour the point of this couplet, which only emphasises the idea of the previous two Kurals by stating that the good earth itself will bear testimony to the fact that no harm will come to a man who practices compassion.
