On Business And Life - Sathya Sai Baba

The right way to pray is to accept and surrender to the will of the Lord. It is also an act of thanks giving and act of gratitude to God. When we feel a sense of gratitude, then prayers are no longer for any receiving or a business contract- we can then acquire equal mind-ness.
Bhagavan explains that while all the people have problems, these problems are temporary, like passing clouds and don't stay with us for long.
Every problem has to lesson to teach. Any suffering has a message to convey. All this is a process of self-evolution, stage by stage, like graduating from one examination to the next.
Those, which we consider as difficulties, are but steps towards ultimate spiritual evolution. Baba declares that pain and pleasure co-exist together: One is the obverse, the other is reverse. One cannot be separated from other.
