Hanuman the immortal, was born to an apsara who cursed to attain a monkey form by a rishi and later blessed to assume her original form only when Lord Shiva took birth as her son. He is a jagruta daiva who is still awakened, and actively helps his devotees even today.

Anjana, was lucky enough to receive a part of the divine kheer given to Dasharath Maharaj by Agni during Putrakameshti yaga thorugh the help of Vayu who gave it to Anjana to consume it. After eating it, she gave birth to the Avatar of Lord Shiva, the very central figure of Ramayana epic as Hanuman. Anjaneya has nine incarnations as listed below.
Hanuman's irrepressible valour as a child, impressed even Lord Indra, especially when Hanuman with one leap reached Sun God mistaking him to be a fruit. So Indra blessed him with immortality and a boon that no weapon could harm him. He received powers from all Gods and became invincible. Weapons added a glorious aura to his valour. Indra also named him as Veera Hanuman or Veera Anjaneya. Here are the nine incarnations of Veeranjaneya.
