Dakshina Kali: The Mantra Rituals And Benefits Of Worship

Dakshinakali, the most popular form of Kali in Bengal, protects seekers from misfortunes. Etymologically the word Dakshina refers to the gift given to priest before a ritual. Regular chant offers peace and eradicate evil. If the worship is done with a single-minded devotion and pure mind, Goddess Kali will most certainly end the devotees's troubles for good. Although Dakshina Kali literally means south facing Kali she points at immortal knowledge that should be gained by the seeker. She helps the seeker to achieve inner wisdom. Her mantra is also called the beej mantra.

Start this mantra during the Pradosh period either in the morning or in the evening. First step is to take bath, wear clean fresh clothes and offer prayers to Lord Ganesha. Keep an idol of the Goddess towards the south. Do deeparadhanam (using a single wick), pushparchana, offer sindoor, one seasonal fruit and then a coconut. Meditate on God chanting the mantra 108 times on a rudrakshi rosary.
2. Dakshina Kali Dhyan Mantra
Also known as the Karpuradi Stotra, this Dhyan mantra if regularly chanted, provides the seeker a sense of fearlessness, courage, boldness, and valour. But for the best outcome, one needs to chant the Dakshina Kali Dhyan mantra regularly most importantly keeping an eye on your pronunciation.

Rules For Chanting The Kali Mantras
1. Every day sunset or on Amavasya, wearing the red coloured cloth, you could recite the mantra. Also place the Kali idol on a red cloth. Do shodashopachara puja to Goddess Kali. Face the East or North while reciting. This mantra has to be chanted for 9 times for 40 days. Mantra chanting can be done by anyone.
2. Any kali mantra has to be chanted for 40 days for accruing the full benefits of it.
3. Abstain from Non veg or onion and garlic to get great results.
