Chanakya Niti: Lessons We Can Learn From Failure

Life first gives us tests and then gives us lessons, unlike our examinations where lessons are given first and tests, later. Lot many of us know what failure could be like and we most certainly know what we should not have done. Successful people know what to do in order to get what they want. Since it is about failure that we are talking about, let us see what Acharya Chanakya says about it. He says failure teaches us three things which certainly lead us to success.
Chanakya was the sharpest brained human that history ever saw. His advice is guiding so many lives to complete fulfilment today. The truth is that success gives you happiness whereas failure gives us lessons to learn from. It is the 99 failing steps that lead to the 100th successful step. Success is made of a string of failures; otherwise it cannot be termed as success. Chanakya says there is no distinct winning formula for success; it is the result of so many factors, of hard work, passion, and lessons learnt from failure. .
Things That We Can Learn From Failure
Always consistent efforts lead towards success. A person who changes his goals due to fear of failure, can never succeed anywhere. Do not change goals. Change the way you look at and work at it.
In a way, it is good to fail as it gives you a chance to mend your mistakes from the initial attempt and try harder and smarter for the second attempt. It is disappointment and failure that leads you on towards success. The lesson is never to get disheartened, but keep trying. Do not stop trying just because you failed at something. Your efforts obviously lacked something which you did not notice at the very beginning. See where it went wrong, correct it and go ahead.
Comments and criticisms create of wave of negativity and disturbance in the mind of the recipient. According to Acharya Chanakya, it is best to ignore the criticism, by just listening to it through one ear and throwing it through the other. As per Chanakya, one should steadily move towards your goals, to fulfil them instead of focusing on people who were criticising you all along.
One has to succeed in his attempts if he has put the right effort in the right time. In case,, he still does not taste success, he should introspect to know what has gone wrong and see what his efforts were lacking in. If you have tried the right method, in the right time and put in the right efforts, or if you have just given what it takes for the job to succeed, you should definitely succeed.
