Sree Subramanya Swami Ashtakam
Take a look at very powerful stotram of sree subramanya swami
In each month, the Sashti day of the Shukla Paksha is dedicated to Lord Subramanya or Skanda. The day is known as Skanda Sashti, and the devotees of Lord Kartikeya keep fasts and poojas on the day to earn his blessings and grace.
Lord Skanda is the son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. He is the sibling of Lord Ganesha. The South and North of India have varied opinions about who the elder sibling among the both is.
In the South region, Lord Ganesha is considered to be the eldest; while in the North, Lord Skanda is believed to be the elder brother. Whatever the case may be, Lord Kartikeya has a huge number of devotees. It is believed that Lord Skanda is an easily pleased God and showers good fortune and prosperity on his devotees.
The 28th of June, 2017, is to be observed as Skanda Shashti. And on this occasion, we bring to you the Sree Subramanya Ashtakam. This stotram is very powerful and it frees the one who religiously chants it from the bonds of sins committed in this and the past worlds.
