When is Kamada Ekadashi 2024? Every year, Kamada Ekadashi fast is observed on the Ekadashi date of Shukla Paksha of Chaitra month. On this day, there is a ritual to worship Goddess Lakshmi along with Lord Shri Hari Vishnu Narayan. Along with this, regular Ekadashi fast is also observed. Kamada Ekadashi fast is observed to worship Lord Vishnu.
According to religious and spiritual beliefs, observing this fast frees one from sins committed knowingly or unknowingly. With this, salvation is attained and the worshiper gets results equal to 100 Yagyas and also gets rid of the sin of killing Brahmabhata. Apart from this, all the sins committed by the person are also washed away.

When Is Kamada Ekadashi 2024? Date, Time
Ekadashi date of Shukla Paksha of Chaitra month will start from 05:41 pm on Thursday, 18th April, and will end the next day on 19th April, Friday, at 8:04 pm. According to Udaya Tithi, the fast of Kamada Ekadashi will be observed mainly on 19th April.
Kamada Ekadashi 2024 (Kamada Ekadashi 2024 Paran Timing): Paran Timing
Worshipers can break their fast on April 20 between 5:50 am to 8:26 am. At this time, take a bath in Brahma Muhurta, meditate and worship Lord Vishnu, and then break your fast by giving donations to Brahmins.
Kamada Ekadashi 2024: Puja Rituals
1. On the day of Kamada Ekadashi, wake up before sunrise and take a bath in Brahma Muhurta, after that wear clean and neat clothes.
2. After this, meditate on Lord Shri Vishnu and resolve to fast.
3. For puja, spread a red cloth on a wooden platform and install the idol or picture of Lord Vishnu.
4. Then keep a pot of pure water filled with Akshat, Roli, and sesame seeds near the idol.
5. After this, offer fruits, flowers, Panchamrit sesame seeds, etc. to Lord Vishnu.
6. Then light the ghee lamp and remember the names of Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi with true devotion and pure mind.
7. Now perform Aarti of Lord Vishnu and chant mantras. And finally, after reading the fast story, complete your puja.
