Dos And Donts To Follow In The Month Of Jyeshta
The month of Jyeshta comes with its own set of Dos and Don'ts for justifiable reasons. This month of Vaishaka has ended on 19 May and Jyeshta has begun on 20 May.
Sun rays directly contact the earth and hence the environment heat is doubled. Hanuman, if worshipped in this month, eliminates your sorrows.Lord Varuna puja is done for rains.

In places like Kigga, in Sringeri, Rishyashringa Rishi is invoked for bringing on rains. The prayers work miraculously every time here. In other places varuna puja is done. Since it rains rarely this month, one should focus on conserving water.
What do we do in the month of Jyeshta for remedying the situation? Here they are enlisted below for your reference.
Be Judicious In The Usage Of Water: Water wastage, more than practical implications, has some spiritual and astrological significance as well.
Specially during this month of Jyeshta, wasting of water indicates that your expenditure is going to exceed your income. Your money, like water, will also be wasted.
Hence be careful and use water very thoughtfully. Even vastu shastra and Feng shui propound this same theory. .Use sandalwood for puja for God
Do Not Make This Mistake On Tuesday: Tuesday of Jyeshta month is deemed to be the luckiest day and most significant with respect to money transactions. Strictly avoid money transactions on Tuesdays as your financial picture will go from bad to worse.
Tuesday is generally considered as an unlucky day for beginning anything auspicious. But Tamilians hold the belief that Tuesday and Amavasya can be eminently considered for celebrating auspicious events. Religious Beliefs can differ slightly from state to state.
Don't Nap In The Afternoons: According to the scriptures, it is best to be awake during the day and not nap in the afternoons. Sleep only once a day in Jyeshta month. one should sleep only once in the month of Jyeshta. Afternoon nap brings on unforeseen diseases.

Give As Per Your Capacity : Jyeshta should be the month when the visitors to your home, be it a beggar or a close relative, should not be sent empty handed. Plan to give something within your means and capacity.
Donating is a charitable activity that makes you feel more generous than before and makes you feel glad about giving. This develops a helpful attitude and enhances your satkarma manifold. Also donate sesame seeds to avoid premature death. Offer drinking water to animals and birds.
Stay At Home: Going out between 1 pm to 4 pm in Jyeshta month is not advisable as the harsh rays of Sun may lead you to a sunstroke or blackouts. Your skin also takes the beating.
Wear weather appropriate dresses and have cooling drinks like, lemonade and watermelons. People are more prone to sunstrokes in Jyeshta month than any other month. Orange clothes should not be worn even by mistake. Do not touch trees and plants this Jyeshta month.
