Break Free From The Prison!

Ultimate Liberation, Osho Story
Even the smallest way can become a great teaching, leading one to liberation. A short Sufi story reveals the truth.

A king, angry with his prime minister sentenced him to be confined to a tower where there was no way of escape. Jumping from the tower would simply mean death. The minister while being taken away whispered something to his wife.

On the very first night of the confinement, the wife left an insect to crawl up the tower. She applied some honey to its antennae and tied a thin silk thread to its tail. The insect slowly crawled its way to the 300 ft tower in search of honey.

No sooner did the minister spotted it, he grabbed the silk thread tied to the insect, to which a cord was attached and to the cord in turn, a strong rope was attached by his wife. The minister caught hold of the rope and made his way out of the prison. Not only did he escape from the prison, he always learnt the way to free himself from the eternal prison.

Osho says that even the slightest hint or the smallest way can lead one to the ultimate liberation if grasped with zest.
