A man who was very fond of smoking was overcome by the urge to smoke in the middle of a night. He in order to get charcoal to light his cigar walked to his neighbour's house. He knocked the door of his neighbour who responded after a couple of loud knocks. The surprised neighbor finding the man at his door in the dead hours of the night, enquired him of the matter. The man requested for charcoal to light his cigar. The neighbour pointed out to the man that he need not have to have taken pains to walk up to his door for fire, instead could have lit it with the lantern that was in his own hand!

To discover the self one need not have to seek out, as it lies in the very realization of the self within.
