Things Indian Kids Don't Tell Parents
In India where dating is still considered a taboo, it leaves children with no choice but to lie to their parents. Kids who are dating or are in relationship keep their affair a secret. They fear that they would make their parents unhappy with their choice of partner.
Falling in love is easy but telling parents that you are in love is undeniably difficult. Due to the pressure of arranged marriages in India, kids sometimes have to give up their love to maintain the societal rules.
Some people lie about their boyfriends or girlfriends as they are not serious about the relationship and are in it just for fun.
Here are some of the things Indian kids never tell their parents when they are in a relationship.

I Have A Boyfriend
The first lie every kid tells his/her parents is denying they have a boyfriend or girlfriend. Having a boyfriend or girlfriend is considered not a nice thing in our conservative society.

I'm Going On A Date
If parents are aware of your partner, there is no way you will tell them that you are ready for a date night. They would freak out on just hearing the word 'date'. This is another thing Indian kids never tell their parents.

My Boyfriend Came Home
Can you imagine your folk's expression if they come to know that your boyfriend or girlfriend has been to your house? However, if you are living abroad, boyfriends or girlfriends coming over is a common thing.

I Had My First Kiss
Would you tell your folks about your first kiss? Surely not! This is not something that you can easily confront your parents with and express how you felt the moment your lips touched each other's.

I'm Staying Over At A 'Friend's Place'
The other thing kids don't tell their parents is where they are staying for the night! If you are in a relationship and want to spend some quality naughty time with your partner, you would obviously lie!

Going On A College Tour
Tours can be so exciting, especially when you go with your partner. Unfortunately, Indian parents are not up for tours that include your boyfriend or girlfriend. So, the next step an Indian kid does is to lie about the list of friends for the tour! This is one of the things Indian kids don't tell their parents!

I'm Living In!
Living in is also ruled out in parents' upbringing list of their kids. No Indian parent likes the idea of their son or daughter residing with their lover before tying the knot. Hence, it's natural for kids to lie about their roommates.
