Signs Of Labour During Pregnancy
For women who are pregnant for their first baby at the time of confinement, they usually wonder what are the signs of labour. This can be quite confusing at this moment since during this period many women undergo stress at its peak. The main sign that you are in first stage of labour is the start of regular contractions. Every pregnant woman feels her contraction pain differently, but in the first stage of labour it could vary from cramps similar to those during your period to waves of discomfort which is really pain rending.
TIME FOR LABOUR: Ease Your Back Pain
In the first stage, contractions are usually 30 to 60 seconds long and come at intervals of five to 20 minutes, although it can vary widely from one woman to another. During this time of labour pain the cervix will be dilating from a zero to ten centimetres and then becoming fully dilated during the period of transition.

Discharge

Cramps

Water break
During pregnancy your baby floats in a sac of amniotic fluid which protects it from all sorts of harm. Shortly before birth the sac ruptures, known as your ‘waters breaking. This is one of the most common things you must have across as a sign of labour during pregnancy.

Upset Tummy
If you are suffering from an upset tummy it could be that your body is gearing up to give birth to your bundle of joy. This is another common labour sign during pregnancy and is normal since it is caused by the presence of prostaglandin which stimulates the bowels to open more frequently.

Vomitting
Right through your pregnancy, some women have a problem of nasuea. Throwing up what ever you eat is a sign of labour. Some say that this could be due to a combination of fear, pain and hormones and of course excitement.

Contractions
This is one of the common signs of labour during pregnancy. A pregnant women will feel a gentle tightening and relaxing of the uterus as her body begins to prepare for the best moment of her life.

A Little Light
You will start to feel a little light in your tummy at the time of the due date. The baby tends to drop and settle in the pelvis, helping you to breathe a little easier than before.

Shivers
Even if you are not cold, you may experience shivering or trembling in early labour. This is one of the common signs of labour during pregnancy many women face.

Food Cravings
Food cravings do not stop right through the term of your pregnancy. Extreme food cravings is one of the sights you would experience at the time of your due date.
