How Much Time Busy Parents Can Dedicate For Family?

Hectic work hours, even has parents seeing less of their children, save on weekends when they have spend on an average just 45 minutes with the whole family.
It was revealed in a survey that found that an average working parent enjoys just 45 minutes of "family time" on a weekday. Whereas on the weekdays, often the children for a days without seeing the sight of their of any one parent.
The survey found that one in three children, aged between five and 16, go to bed without seeing their mum or dad at least twice a week. While only 20 per cent of the families have their breakfast, lunch or dinner together once or twice a week.
However, the number keeps to 28 per cent, when it comes to families having lunch together on a Sunday, with most of them saying that Sunday is the only meal of the week when they actually sit down and eat together.
"We were shocked to find that British families spend so little quality time together," the Daily Express quoted Paul Heritage, MD of Aunt Bessie's as saying.
The poll that reviewed 2,000 adults also found that 55 per cent of the children, only had TV, computers and gadgets as source of entertainment.
