Does Hard Water Cause Skin Issues In Kids
A new study claims that hard water isn't good for babies. It could cause red rashes which might cause itching sensation and irritation of the skin of your baby.

Dry skin could cause eczema. Sometimes, even environmental factors may also play a part. This study claims that hard water could affect the skin's natural protection mechanism and could cause eczema in childhood.

After studying more than a thousand infants whose families used hard water that contains chlorine and calcium carbonate, researchers have come to this conclusion.

The skin barrier was examined in those kids and then eczema tests were also done. The results seem to prove that drinking hard water during infancy could increase the risk of suffering eczema by 85%.

So, researchers recommend using soft water or buying equipment that can soften hard water especially when you have babies at home.

The health of infants tends to be delicate and that is the reason why more attention may need to be given when they are too young and tender. So, if you are living in an area where only hard water is available, you may need to consult your doctor for suggestions.
