Electric Steam Sterilising
They are quick and sterilise efficiently. They only take eight to twelve minutes to complete the process of sterilisation. You can sterilise upto six bottles at a time in this steriliser. Place the bottles upside down in it to ensure complete sterilisation.
Sterilising Baby Bottles In A Microwave
Most of the microwave suitable bottles can be sterilised it the microwave. It is an easy and quick way of sterilising your baby's feeding bottles. It just takes 90 seconds to sterilise the bottles in a microwave. Ensure that you keep the lid open to prevent breakage of the bottle.
Sterilising Baby Bottles In Boiling Water
If the feeding bottles are heat resistant you can boil them in water to make them infection-free. Boil water in a vessel and, put the feeding bottle in it. Boil it for atleast 10 to 15 minutes. Make sure you are not using this pan for any other purpose except from sterilising your baby's feeding bottles.
Cold Water Sterilisation
For this you need to have a sterilising chemical solution available in market for sterilising baby feeding bottles. Put this liquid in cold water and mix well. Now put this liquid in a bowl and submerge the bottle in it for atleast 30 minutes. Take out the bottle and rinse well with lukewarm water to ensure that all the chemical solution is removed well from the bottle.
Wash Bottles With Soap And Water
Use a disinfectant and antiseptic liquid soap to sterilise the feeding bottles. Rinse the bottle with hot water and put the disinfectant liquid with some hot water inside the bottle. Shake the bottle well and then remove the solution from the bottle. Rinse the bottle thoroughly with water afterwards to make sure there is no soap residue left inside the bottle
Use A Dishwasher
Put the bottles inside a dish washer and wash it. The heat generated inside the dish washer is sufficient to sterilise the feeding bottles. However it does not offer complete sterilisation. But can work for a little time. This is another easy and best way to sterilise baby bottles.
