Rohit Bal Shanti Collection At Lakme Fashion Week Winter Festive, 2011

The pristine white interiors matched with the theme of Rohit Bal's Shanti collection. The Lakme Fashion Week Winter Festive, 2011 collection opened with a tasseled yoke ivory multi appliqued border floor length ensemble followed by an alternating net and cut-work diaphanous lehenga, voluminous skirts. The show moved from one stunning entry to another and the audience just loved the elegant creations.
Swirling floor length coats, glittering gowns, bronze kamar-bund were worn to complete the organza laced, gold worked shimmering lehengas. Crafted gold corsets, halter gown with wine and black embroidery, cut-work aprons with flares of black net in the side, beaded fringed shoulder Spanish inspired gown were also seen in the Rohit Bal's Lakme Fashion Week Winter Festive collection.
Rohit Bal's Shanti collection which is inspired from peace and tranquility also had his famous multi-tiered floor length kurtas in different shades like wine, black and beige with heavily embroidered long coats. Even net and velvet material coats with embroidery under with dazzling kurtas and horizontal ribbed sheer skirt constituted the women's wear.
Men's wear had Jodhpuri jackets, black floral embroidered sherwanis and royal blue and black velvet jackets. Lavish creations in gold, silver, velvet, cut-work, crochet, floral applique works were widely used in the collection.
Arjun Rampal concluded the Lakme Fashion Week Winter Festive, 2011 Shanti collection of Rohit Bal. He wore an ivory pant with a biker's jacket and looked amazing in the sporty yet stylish look!
