This Indian Wedding Blessed By The Country's Most Respected Spiritual Leaders
In a time when weddings are often seen as glamorous pageants, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's grand celebration redefined what it means to have a 'blessed beginning.' Their union wasn't just witnessed by Bollywood stars and global tycoons, but was deeply sanctified by the presence of India's most revered spiritual leaders - making the wedding feel more like a yagna of dharma, culture, and divine grace.
From ancient Vedic mantras echoing through the mandap to the Ashirvachans (blessings) offered by saints and gurus from across India, the Ambani-Merchant wedding created a rare confluence where faith, tradition, and modernity met harmoniously.

A Spiritual Guest List Like Never Before
The wedding ceremony saw the presence of India's most respected religious figures, each representing diverse spiritual paths but all united in offering their blessings to the couple. It was perhaps the first time in recent history that so many esteemed gurus came together for a single union.
1. Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev
Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, the Isha Foundation founder, known for his global spiritual following, graced the wedding and later shared a heartfelt note, 'Marriage is not just a contract; it is a sacred possibility. May Anant and Radhika walk this path with awareness, inclusion, and devotion.'

2. Baba Ramdev

3. Swami Chidanand Saraswati

4. Jagadguru Rambhadracharya

5. Swami Sadananda Saraswati And Swami Avimukteshwaranand
Both of them are prominent voices in the spiritual reform space, gave blessings of dharmic discipline and clarity of purpose in life's journey.

Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, the youthful head of Bageshwar Dham, delivered blessings of devotion, protection, and fearless faith, symbolising strength and divine resolve.
7. Swami Avdeshanand Giri

8. Renowned Bhagwat Katha orator Devki Nandan Thakur Ji
Devki Nandan Thakur Ji illuminated the wedding with his melodious spiritual teachings on karma and divine companionship, saying, 'Marriage is the journey of two souls, but when walked with dharma, it becomes a journey of lifetimes.'
9. Rameshbhai Oza (Bhaishri)
Rameshbhai Oza (Bhaishri), beloved for his spiritual discourses, offered guidance on leading a harmonious, balanced married life, reminding the couple to carry kindness, trust, and spiritual joy as anchors.
10. Jain monks And Buddhist scholars
They were present there to reflect India's spiritual diversity, monks from Jain traditions and Tibetan Buddhist scholars were also seen offering blessings in quiet meditative ceremonies.

Sacred Rituals Anchored In Blessings
The spiritual presence was not symbolic-it was central. From the Ganapati Puja, Navagraha puja, to the Vedic vivah sanskar, every ritual was led by purohits and scholars trained under the guidance of these spiritual giants. Vedic hymns from all four Vedas-Rig, Yajur, Sama, and Atharva-were recited during the main ceremony.
The wedding mandap, inspired by ancient temples of Bharat, became a divine energy centre, where mantras echoed, flames danced, and blessings rained from the mouths of saints.
Nita & Mukesh Ambani's Personal Faith Journey
Nita Ambani, a known devotee of Indian traditions, has long been associated with spiritual causes-from temple conservation to Ganga cleaning projects. She was quoted saying, 'We wanted Radhika and Anant to begin their married life not with pomp, but with prayer. Blessings from our gurus were more important than anything else.'
Mukesh Ambani, too, emotionally thanked all spiritual leaders during a private satsang at the wedding,This wedding became truly divine because our dharmacharyas made it sacred.'
A Message To Modern India
In a world where many elite weddings chase western aesthetics, the Ambani-Merchant wedding brought the focus back to India's own spiritual depth. With blessings from gurus representing Bhakti, Jnana, Yoga, Karma, and Shuddh Dharma, this was more than a shaadi-it was a spiritual awakening wrapped in celebration.
