People Love Social Media Use In Restrooms: Survey
Nearly 69 per cent of the people in the US are using their smartphones in restrooms with more than half of them chatting and posting on various social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter, an interesting survey has revealed.
A total of 12 per cent of respondents confessed to watching explicit material on their smartphones while in the toilet, according to the survey released by the New York-based cloud online service MiMedia.

Nearly, 25 per cent said they had dropped their phone in the toilet, with Android users more likely to admit to such an accident than iPhone owners.
About 59 per cent said they visited their social media feeds including Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat and Instagram in the restroom, tech.co reported on Wednesday, quoting the survey.

Moreover, 83 per cent of the people who said they used dating apps while in the restrooms were men. Only women confessed they took selfies or photos while in the bathroom.
In addition to that, 32 per cent admitted to shopping online and 8 per cent divulged that they actually check up on their online dating profiles.
