According to sources, in total there are more than 300 odd burial grounds in the world which are haunted and creepy. And, since we couldn't take the whole lot and add them to the list, we picked the best 10.

The Chase Vault

Barbados is well-known for the Chase Vault. This creepiest burial ground is also known as the moving coffins vault. According to legend it is believed that each time the heavily sealed vault was opened, the coffins were noted to have changed positions. Creepy Right?

This burial ground is creepy because the ghost of a Voodoo Priestes has been seen here on multiple occasions by unrelated parties. The priestess would walk the entire cemetary along with her daughter through the night.

The Catacombe dei Cappuccini or the Catacombs of the Capuchins is a small burial ground that is located in Palermo, Sicily in Italy. It is creepy because the walls of the crypt are lined with embalmed bodies which look face down at you when you visit the dead.

This creepy cemetery is also known as the ‘London Necropolis'. It is not the perfect place to visit at untimely hours, for it is said the voices of the dead are heard so loud it will give you the goosebumps.

Catacombs are the worst and creepiest burial grounds in the world. This Catacombs has thousands of skulls and other bones lined up on the walls located underneath the city. It is haunted because there are over six million people ‘buried' here.

This cave like burial ground in Belize is one place to visit only if you have the guts. Those who have been here have walked through skeletons littered throughout the chambers. If you happen to pass by ‘the Crystal Maiden', consider yourself lucky as this skeleton was that of a teenage girl who was sacrificed and her bones have been calcified to a crystallised appearance.
