Kachoris are those perfectly stuffed round puris that just make our mouth water at the very sight of them. They are a delicacy in Northern India and some places in Pakistan as well. The Onion kachoris of Rajasthan to Dal one in Uttar Pradesh, Moong dal kachori of Gujrat to Raj kachori of Delhi, Peas kachori of Bengal to Mava kachori , are just wholesome snack for all occasions.

One doesn't need reasons to love kachori! When we think about kachoris the most amazing thing that comes to our mind about them is their round shape. It’s just so smooth and round that no edge would hurt your mouth and you can enjoy the delicacy without any trouble caused by its edges. It is perfectly circular in shape and stuffed to perfection which just makes it absolutely delightful.

Next best thing about kachori is that it being a delicacy in India it is not commonly available at every stall likes samosas, so it makes one feel so special. Everyone loves to enjoy delicacies as they make one feel different among the crowd, and the pleasure of having what everyone wants but can’t get is absolutely priceless.

The heavenly feeling it gives when it completely dissolves in your mouth with a delightful taste lingering in your mouth for long, makes you just want to try another one and then another and so goes till you are absolutely full. The next best thing about kachori in comparison to its other competitors such as samosa is that it is available in so many tastes and varieties. The mava and onion filling of Rajasthan gives them the just right sweet and salty taste. The aloo and dal kachori of Uttar Pradesh which complete every auspicious occasion and festival in our lives and make long for them. I remember my mother making hot alloo kachoris with kheer on Holi and Diwali, they would just make the festival even more special and love filled. The pea kachori of Bengal too make them the right food for snacking of out of the box lunch for all officer goers and kitty parties.

Come to think about it, kachoris look so beautiful and delicious when served on a plate with some coriander on top and green and red chutneys to accompany it. I love kachori chaat! U should try this as well. It’s the perfect blend of colours and taste and looks. I feel kachori is the right blend of tasty and tangy flavours which depicting the sweet and sour nature of a human being.

And for people who are so calorie conscious there is no better snack then kachori. It has so much lesser oil than the other Indian snack which we love and tastes delightful at the same time. Thus, making us feel so less guilty of grabbing and eating extra calories. If you ask me there is no better taste then kachori accompanies by chutney or kheer or chhole. It is just so graceful and perfect that it can be had without any escort.
