The Kingfisher Derby Trophy was unveiled on Sunday by Sandalwood actress Kriti Kharbanda, Gurpreet Singh, Assistant Vice President - Marketing, United Breweries Ltd, and V Harimohan Naidu, Chairman of the Bangalore Turf Club. The coveted ‘Silver Horse' trophy is inspired by the undulating course at the Bangalore Turf Club and is topped with a striking filly.

In its 27th edition, the regal Kingfisher Derby is all set to bring together the best thoroughbreds, equestrian enthusiasts and fashion czars into one exhilarating amalgamation. Known as the ‘King of all Derbies', it is one of the richest sporting events boasting of an enviable prize purse.

The Kingfisher Derby promises a spectacular display of horse power and equine tussle and will be held on July 13, 2014.
