Five Reasons For Working From Home
When you have the option of working from home, your friends consider you lucky. This is because every kind of job cannot be done from home. You can have the privilege of working from home only if you are doing a job that can be done online. But when working from home is an option for you, it does not mean you will always be allowed to exercise this option. There have to be some valid reasons for working from home.
In fact, most multinational companies are taking away the working from home privilege from their employees these days. Now, the situation is at a stalemate. You have to show a definite reason for working from home so that you can do the same.
Here are some reasons that can convince your boss to allow you to work from home. Most of these reasons cannot be fakes, so don't get too excited. Just get a practical feel of the situation.

Pregnancy
In the later months of your pregnancy, when travelling becomes dangerous and cumbersome, some companies may allow you to work from home. This is purely on humanitarian grounds and not essential like the maternity leave.
Nursing Mother
Just like a pregnant woman, an organisation might allow a nursing mother to work from home. This again depends on the discretion of your boss and your company's HR policies. Many organisations allow nursing mothers to work from home because six months of breastfeeding is considered medically best for your baby.
Infectious Disease
If you have an infectious disease like chicken pox or even common cold, your company might allow you to work from home. This is more ‘essential' in nature than the first two conditions because you might infect other people in your office.
Injury
If you are injured in a manner that makes it impossible for you to travel, then you can be allowed to work from home. For example, you break your arm or leg in an accident; you cannot travel until your plaster comes off.
Lack Of Space
Sometimes your organisation might want you to work from home on their own account. This usually happens when your office is being physically shifted or there is no space to sit in the office.
These are some ways to get the work from home privilege from your boss.
